The American Association for Teaching and Curriculum (AATC) invites proposals for the Twenty-seventh Annual Conference:
"Creativity and the Muse"

We're looking forward to seeing our AATC colleagues and guests in-person October 7 - 9, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We will continue to observe CDC recommendations regarding the pandemic and we are prepared to offer a hybrid or virtual component for a portion of the conference if needs be. Please note: Audiovisual technology is the responsibility of the presenters. We are not able to provide AV support or components so please bring any AV equipment you need in order to share your presentation. This applies to all submission types.

Paper Presentation: A paper presentation is a formal paper reporting ongoing or completed research and invites questions and discussion. Copies of the paper should be distributed and should not have been previously presented. Paper presentations are allotted 25 minutes.
Issues and Ideas: An issues and ideas presentation is an introduction of questions for inquiry and/or concepts or theories to engage the audience in discussion. These sessions encourage dialogue around a compelling question or topic. Ideas and Issues sessions are allotted 25 minutes.
Panel/Symposium: A panel/symposium involves several speakers discussing varied points of view on a specified issue of interest to the AATC membership. Panels/Symposia are allotted 50 minutes for presentations and audience participation.
Poster Presentation: A poster presentation incorporates a graphic representation and a brief oral presentation on a current educational issue. Participants will move from poster to poster for a 5-10 minute presentation by the presenter with a chance for participants to ask questions.
Workshop: A workshop is an interactive session that may include a demonstration of a skill or a project with an opportunity for the participants to practice what they learn. Workshop sessions are alloted 50 minutes and may be alloted extended time over the course of the conference.

Please indicate the length of your proposed workshop in 50-minute increments. Options include: one 50-minute session; two concurrent 50-minute sessions (with break); or two 50-minute sessions over the course of two days.
