FT Faculty – Exceptional Education

The Department of Educational Foundations and Exceptionalities (EFEX) within James Madison University’s (JMU) College of Education invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant / Associate Professor with a focus on and experience in K-12 Special Education: Adapted Curriculum (e.g., moderate/severe disabilities) and Applied Behavior Analysis. The anticipated start date is August 25, 2017.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the K-12 Special Education: Adapted Curriculum program and the Behavior Specialist program (a BCBA approved course sequence). Duties within this area include supervising field experience for the Behavior Specialist Program.
Several active and long-term AATC members work in JMU’s College of Education. The institution is located in the Shenandoah Valley, a great place to work and live.
